“Stress is inner biofeedback, signaling you that frequencies are fighting within your system. The purpose of stress isn’t to hurt you, but to let you know it’s time to go back to the heart and start loving.”

~ Sara Paddison

One of the ways to get stress out of your life is to detach from it.

The rhythm of the mind tends to get much faster that the rhythm of the heart as the day goes by.

When this happens our systems begin to compete with each other instead of collaborate.

Stress seems to creep into our spaces and pitch a tent…for awhile.

But we have the ultimate control of whether or not stress gets to stay or has to go.

Forgive the stress in your life by putting in its proper place.

Here’s how:

Close your eyes, place your hand over your heart, and take several deep breaths to relax.

Now, go into the heart and breathe into it.

Literally see a vision of the heart, hear the breath, or feel the breath going into and out of your heart.

Look at all events of your day so far in an objective, non-critical way. No judgments.

Become the observer witness. Just notice what happens as you let go of each thought that comes through.

See the breath coming in and leaving out of your heart.

You will find moments that you wish you would have handled differently.

Let them go and breathe.

Continue breathing this way for at least 2 minutes, seeing, hearing, and feeling the breath come into your heart and leaving.

Notice the peace and calmness that comes over you as you make this moment sync up mentally and emotionally.

The more you perform this breathing exercise, the more stress will take a backseat in your life.

Stress has no other choice but to recede when you direct it to do so.

Stress is an inner game.

So when you feel overwhelmed or out of sorts,

Close your eyes, breath into the heart, and let go of the stress.

You will be glad you did.
