Nature yields her most profound secrets to the person who is determined to uncover them ~ Napoleon Hill

For a long time, there was a four word program running in the background of my life that I didn’t know was there. It dominated what I thought of myself and the validity of my thoughts and actions. This program translated into a feeling that held me back, keeping me from my brilliance and the fullness of life. I didn’t intentionally seek this feeling, I learned it.

I kept it for quite a long time. All that I did in my life operated from this intention without fully being aware of it.

The program was a four word phrase: I’m not good enough or put another way, I don’t deserve it.

I heard it in phrases everyday in my interactions with people, “You’re not good enough for him or her. You’re not good enough to do that. What, are you crazy? You can’t do that!” Sound familiar?

By definition, these statements and subsequent emotions are negative. They state the intention of I can’t, I’m not, and I don’t.

But you are good enough. You were born more than good enough and better than that worthy of all that is good in life. It is your birthright to be good enough. You are love and light and compassion in your heart of hearts.

For most, we have learned how not to be worthy through the circumstances of life and our learned behaviors. However, if all the circumstantial stuff were to fall away, what would be left? Just you as you are, and me as I am.

You are good enough as you are.

In situation and in life where there is seemingly no power and a lot of negativity, understand that your true power lies dormant waiting to be exercised if you choose to put it to use.

This true power is the ability to uncover who you truly are in spite of all the muck you go through. Pick up your power. Become the captain of your ship, it’s time to take the wheel.

What You Can Do Now to Begin:

I had to unlearn and change the feeling within me of not being good enough. To do this, I had to begin believing in me. I stopped being my own worst critic. I gave myself a break. I dropped the not from all statements. I kicked the negative to the curb. I picked up the positive and held it in my hand. I am good enough! I can! I will! I activated my faith in these beliefs. I turned the negative statements into positive ones and acted only on the positive. I reaffirmed what I could do and who I was with a new definite certainty.

There is good news and bad news here. The bad news is that to learn a new habit, it takes time. There is no shortcut around it. Mornings are a great time to practice a new habit. Your subconscious mind will pick up the new habit and carry it out after you make it a part of your everyday routine.

The permanent shift to the new habit will happen in an instant. However, that instant takes time to build up so the subconscious mind understands that you are actually serious.

The good news is that new beliefs can replace old ones rapidly through a process called autosuggestion.

Autosuggestion is the shaping of a belief from what it currently is into what you want it to be. Autosuggestion is the transfer of thought energy from your conscious to your subconscious mind that will be picked up and eventually carried out through whatever means are available to you. Autosuggestion is suggesting and reaffirming the positive in your mind. “I am good enough. I deserve to be happy. I can do what my heart desires.”

You are good enough just the way you are. So, begin by thinking and saying in your mind several times daily, “I am good enough.” Better yet, get in front of a mirror and send the signal. Say the words. “I am good enough. I can be anyone I want to be. I will be…”

As weird and as goofy as it may seem at first, if you stick with it, things will begin shifting fast.

If you meet resistance along the way from people around you, that’s good. That’s a signal that you are on the right track.

Keep in mind that deeper Forgiveness and Letting Go work around the old beliefs and expectations will aid your progress significantly.

Acceptance of yourself in your heart is a critical key. The moment it clicked  that I was really good enough was a monumental step to feeling that I could have all that I desired in life.

So, keep on keeping on and reinforcing what you want and stop believing in the same old story of what you’re not or can’t do. Keep a positive frame of mind. You are good enough. You are worthy. Oh, Yes You Can and You Will!

Before you know it, your wishes and intentions will have no other alternative but to come true.
