40 Days of Forgiveness – Day 6 Who You are Becoming

“Day by day, in every way, I’m getting better and better.” ~ Emil Coue

With all of the things we have to juggle in our lives, it’s hard to feel like we are moving forward and growing.

We feel pulled in one direction or another and many times it feels like we lose touch with our own sense of direction.

Maybe we are finding fault with our co-workers, the project we are working on isn’t moving forward, and life just isn’t working for whatever reason.

Does that mean we give up or give in too?

Feel free to throw your hands up and say, “I can’t win!” Then let go of that thought and ask the question, “What is this teaching me?”

Difficulties give us the environment to grow exponentially.

Rather than seeing your tough time as something happening TO you, see it as something happening FOR you to help you learn and grow.

Think of it as “the thing” that is helping you become the person you want to be.

On the Evolving Heart Facebook page, I created a banner that says Become a Blessing.

Who do you want to become? A forgiving person, more patient, a better leader, a person of love and service, or no one in particular?

You can make your intention known to yourself and others by getting out a piece of paper right now and writing down who you are becoming in your life.

You are becoming someone whether you recognize it or not.

Is it the person who you want to be? If so, what adjustments can you make to stay on the right path for you.

If not, what adjustments do you need to make to move in the direction you need to?

Wherever you are in your journey, it’s exactly where you need to be. There are no mistakes and no wasted time, only learning opportunities.

If your life isn’t where you want it to be right now, forgive yourself for what has happened or not happened and make a new intention to move forward.

Slowly but surely you are becoming the person you want to be.

I’m moving closer each day to becoming a blessing to everyone in my life.

Because that’s exactly who I want to be.
