40 Days of Forgiveness – Day 2 A Tough Conversation of Choice

Forgiveness gives a person choice.

What choice? 

The choice to be free of pain and suffering.

But I’m exhausted from all the drama.

Forgiveness renews you again.

But what about them?

They aren’t suffering.

Why not? Don’t they know what they did was wrong?

No, and probably won’t or yes they do and are denying it.

Which is why I need to make it right.

For whom? Them or you?

Them and me. They did wrong and need to own it.

What if all actions have consequences and they will have to answer for everything, just not on your schedule?

Well, I think I’ll suffer and resent until they do own up. 

And what will this cost you until that time?

My health, my life, my peace, my love, and my happiness. But I won’t quit until they pay for it…

And what will you get back when they finally pay?

My health, my life, my peace, my love, and my happiness.
