40 Days of Forgiveness – Day 32 The Power of Intention
“Resentment is the poison and you are the vessel.”
~ Taylor Tagg
“I don’t want to be ill anymore and I don’t want to feel this way.”
This is what I hear often from clients who are ready for relief in their lives.
Once you spend enough time in sickness, sickness becomes too hard to deal with.
You can’t stand it anymore. Change must happen.
You decide to do whatever it takes to get rid of it…or go down swinging.
Disease of the mind and heart cripple us. We are not meant for it for long periods of time.
Enough is enough!
To clear the body, mind, and spirit, we can turn to forgiveness to relieve our suffering.
We realize that we are holding on to resentment and it is slowly killing us.
It’s time for change. But how?
As we begin to dive into the process of how to forgive, we can notice that what we desire (peace of mind and heart) begins with an intention.
Use of the will is one of the keys to success.
“I’ll try” is not good enough. “I might” means “I won’t.”
“I Will” forgive him or her means you are creating the intention to bring the past and the future together in the present moment.
This clear intention and use of the will sets up your mind and your heart for the release of that which has its hold on you.
You’ve heard the expression, “where there is a will, there is a way.”
That’s what we are talking about here. You are set on doing something different.
I must forgive to be healthy and I WILL.
That’s when you know you are ready to take the next step of love and peace for yourself.
Intention creates the most beautiful process along the way!
All that is meant to unfold…will when you intend it.
Is today the day to get started?
